Salon Thirty Two opened in March 2019 as a mother and daughter team and has grown to 8 amazing stylists. We believe that beauty is more than skin deep, and our goal is to make our clients feel confident, empowered, and beautiful both inside and out.
Leah Huff -Stylist/Co-Owner
My love of everything hair started out when I was young and has grown into the best career I could have dreamed of. I love my job because I get to pamper everyone who sits in my chair and help them feel great about themselves.
My favorites looks to create are beachy blondes, dimensional colors, shiny-rich brunettes, and voluminous custom extensions. I am certified in multiple extensions methods, Sunlights balayage, and GK smoothing treatments. I love doing services that completely transform my clients hair and give them a whole new level of confidence.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my family doing anything outdoors.
Lynn Wallis- Stylist/Co-Owner
I am a Pravana certified stylist specializing in all aspects of color including blonding, color corrections, dimensional color. I have a passion for the hair industry and pride myself on forming strong relationships with my clients to provide them with a cut, color and style that is as unique as they are.
Outside of work, I enjoy boating and spending time with my grand babies at my lake house on beautiful Big Bear Lake.
Sydney McKenney- Stylist
I am no stranger to this town as I have grown up in the Gaylord area. I have always loved Northern Michigan, so naturally after I graduated cosmetology school at Douglas J Aveda Institute in Grand Rapids, I quickly moved back home to start working.
I enjoy working in a salon with people I have come to love. I love working on clients I have known forever and meeting people that are new to the area. I specialize in coloring, but also enjoy cutting, manicures, and pedicures.
Outside the salon I have 3 Australian Shepard babies, Chester, Enzo and Lincoln, that I love spending time with.

I have been behind the chair for 7 years and in that time I have had the pleasure of getting to know all of my wonderful clients while doing what I love! Making people feel better then they did coming into the salon is what I strive for.
If I had to pick a service I'm most passionate about, it would have to be any color service. It allows me to show my creative side.
I am thankful to be working in my hometown. Salon Thirty Two has been a perfect fit for my family.

After moving back to Gaylord in February of 2022, I knew I needed a change in career. I got in touch with Leah who took a chance on me.
I started my apprenticeship in June of 2022, and have loved every minute of it. I have always loved this industry so being able to follow those dreams is unreal. I absolutely love trying new things and can’t wait to keep expanding my knowledge. I love fun, funky colors but also a bright natural highlight. Whatever makes someone feel like the best version of themselves.
In my spare time, you can find me reading or spending time with my toddler twins, who know how to keep my life interesting and busy!
